With the changing weather and the fact that people usually take this time of the year to clean out their garages and basements, maybe it's time we take inventory of our level of service to God and others.
Starting this Sunday Jan. 8th I begin leading worship for the second service at Parkside Church in Auburn. This is really exciting and I'm looking forward to what God is going to do here! Right now things are still new and will take some time to dial in my team and develop an ongoing plan on how to impact the community for Christ. So far it's been great working with everyone there and sensing everyone's excitement about the possibilities. I'll still be planning shows this year while leading at Parkside so don't get too worried about it. Check back for updates and look at my blog page for more in-depth updating.
Well this years' Thanksgiving was probably one of the best I can remember in a long time. It really makes me look forward to the rest of this holiday season with anticipation.
The Union had a write up in Monday's paper and below is a clip from it......
There are some new dates posted on the "Shows" page including 2 on June 25th. We're playing at a benefit concert called Hope for the Homeless at Jericho Coffee in Roseville at 2:30pm. That evening we're also playing in Rio Linda at New Life Christian Center. We're also planning some dates to lead worship at different churches in the Sacramento area to keep checking back for updates.
It's been a while since I've updated this news section. Mostly it's due to switching back to Hostbaby after using another host for a while. Now that I'm back I'll try to keep the news up to date as much as I can :)
Well this year is off to a good start with all things considered. I'm looking forward to what the year holds and am looking forward to what God has in store. I'm currently planning mostly solo shows until I can find another drummer to complete the band. Wes and I are still planning on some events this summer regardless. Check out the Shows page for more info on up coming dates.
Mark your calendars for this year's Praise In The Mountains scheduled for Sat. September 5th at Western Gateway Park in Penn Valley, CA.
We're gearing up for a great time of music all afternoon and evening with 6 bands from all over. Check out the poster here.
